Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship
First time using Fry Scholarship:
- Complete the online application VA Form 22-5490 to receive your VA Certificate of Eligibility by mail
- Upload a copy of your VA issued Certificate of Eligibility to the Baylor VA Benefits Office: VA COE Submission
- Immediately AFTER registering for classes, complete the Baylor Request for Certification Form (RFC). Must be completed each semester.
Fry Scholarship used at a previous institution:
- Complete the online application VA Form 22-5495 Request for Change of Program or Place of Training Form
- Upload a copy of your VA issued Certificate of Eligibility to the Baylor VA Benefits Office: VA COE Submission
- Immediately AFTER registering for classes, complete the Baylor Request for Certification Form (RFC). Must be completed each semester.
Benefit Payments:
- Under the John Fry Scholarship, students receive the same benefits as a student receiving Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill® at 100% eligibility.
- Undergraduate students using the John Fry Scholarship are eligible for our Yellow Ribbon Program.
