Carol Hanes
Assistant University Registrar and Process Analyst
Carol joined the Office of the Registrar in June of 2022. As Assistant Registrar, she maintains accurate National Student Clearinghouse data, processes student withdrawals, oversees communications within and from the Registrar’s Office, and helps maintain the Registrar’s Office website. Carol has worked in higher education for over 30 years, teaching English and in administration. She now enjoys working for Baylor, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She also holds a Masters degree in Education from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctorate in Education from Texas A&M Commerce University. Carol joined Baylor from Navarro College, where she served as the Vice President of Academic Affairs. Carol is married to Stan Hanes, who is a pastor at Antioch Community Church as well as serving as the Executive Director of a missions’ organization on the Amazon River in Brazil. She enjoys traveling and attending Baylor sporting events as well as spending time with her husband, three children, two of whom are Baylor graduates, four granddaughters, and two dogs.
